Director of Marketing

As Director of Marketing — reported to the President/CEO and was charged with leading the firm through an extensive Digital Business Transformation, with a focus on content, technology, process & people.  The goal was to better align the operation with both its B2C and B2B markets.  Maintained oversight for both the Marketing & IT divisions of the operation. 

Significant growth in rental leads and overall SEO improvement was seen in a relatively short span of time.

Significant Accomplishments:

Created and successfully deployed an updated Consumer-Centric Website that is the centerpiece of a unified marketing ecosystem.  The new site focuses on hyper-local content and incorporates an agile CMS, responsive design, more robust search facilities, and a texting solution, among other innovations.

Retooled the 34-year-old firm’s Brand Strategy & Narrative — including developing new consistent Brand Identity Standards better to reflect Apartment People’s position in the rental market and enhance the firm’s ability to showcase distinctively people-focused competitive advantages.

Developed an intersection between marketing, technology and training to assist both the Leasing Division and its agents (B2C), as well as Landlord Services (B2B), in better marketing the firm’s services, leading to better nurturing of prospects, higher sales conversions & enhanced client satisfaction.
